A crunchy October with the Gastro Calendar
Crisps, schnitzel or even fresh carrots. Part of the pleasure is in the sound they make as you bite into them. That’s why our Gastro Calendar is all about golden crusts this month. In the third week of October, listen out for that satisfying crunch in our canteen.
On the menu, you’ll find carrots in a sesame breadcrumb coating, fried until golden and served with garlicky chickpea hummus and tomato salsa. Or try our Savoy-style schnitzel with smooth potato purée and buttered carrots and peas – it’s even crispier than a regular schnitzel.
