We launched our daily "rescue mission" exactly on March 16, 2022. Together with our partner Zachraň jídlo, we donate high-quality, hot, uneaten food from our company restaurants and school canteens to those in need. To social service homes, charities, mothers, the homeless or even refugees from Ukraine.

"The Zachraň lunch project is celebrating two years, and we are grateful that the companies Delirest and Primirest stand by us, who were the first to start donating ready meals with us. It's not just 10,000 lunches saved, but 10,000 full stomachs and better days for people in need. I hope that in the coming years we will be able to expand to other cities as well. For example, donations with Primirest currently take place in Prague, Náměšt nad Oslavou, Beroun, Jablonec nad Nisou and Tanvald," confirms Tereza Modlová, PR manager of the Zachraň jídlo organization.

"Preventing food waste in general is a key task for us. The best waste is that which is not created - but if we have leftover lunch portions, we see donating them to charities as a great way to save food from being thrown out unnecessarily and to provide quality food to people in need," explains Jakub Holý, director of the HSE department Delirest and Primirest CR / SR.
