Michal Debrecéni

Managing Director

A specialist who has been immersed in gastronomy since his student days. He was head of the Czech branch of the Villa Enterprises Management chain before he was thirty. In 2011 he became Country Manager of Newrest in Croatia. During his seven-year tenure, the company, which specialises in airline catering, won the award for the most successful accommodation and catering services company four times. After working for the South African branch of Dnata-Newrest and for the Czech Zátiší Group, he became CEO of Compass Group and subsequently the successor companies Delirest and Primirest in the Czech Republic and Slovakia at the end of 2019.

Zuzana Volková

Chief Financial Officer

An expert in financial management with experience in various fields and work in the Czech Republic and abroad. She worked as an auditor at Deloitte and then spent 14 years with the TNT Express logistics company, working in the Netherlands, England and Singapore. In her position as CFO, she managed Xerox and then joined the Compass Group. In the newly established Delirest and Primirest companies, she is responsible not only for finance but also for human resources and information technology.

Martin Straka

Sales Director

Martin has extensive experience in B2B business management, especially in the field of outsourcing solutions for corporate clients. It was his focus at work that connected him to the Compass Group and now the Delirest brand. A big fan of hospitality and catering, he joined the company in September 2020 and has been leading the sales team towards further growth and excellence since June 2021.

Tomáš Čabaj

Purchasing Director

Tomáš says that he originally wanted to avoid gastronomy because his whole family works in it, but he was happy to end up there anyway. Most of his working life has been associated with Eurest, the Compass Group and successor companies Delirest and Primirest. After graduating from university of hospitality services, he started work as a junior buyer, in charge of one product range group. He rose through the ranks, through the position of senior buyer, to become team leader and now heads the entire purchasing department.

Jakub Holý

Director of Quality and Sustainability

Jakub has been associated with food quality and safety all his professional life. He first worked as a catering hygienist at the University Hospital in Motol, then moved to the position of head of the catering and nutrition department at the Prison Service of the Czech Republic. From there, his next steps led to the private sector. As a quality and quality manager, he was responsible for audits, training, supervision of compliance with applicable legislation and regulations, in addition to managing the documentation of ISO certificates. He has been with Delirest since March 2021, initially as Quality Manager and since March 2023 as Director of the HSE team.

Who are we?

We serve our guests satisfaction and the appetite for their work to come. For more than 30 years, we have been a market leader in the Czech Republic and Slovakia in the field of corporate and school catering and a supplier of catering services for a wide range of customers. With our Delirest (for corporate catering and 158 restaurants in the Czech Republic and Slovakia) and Primirest (for school catering and 236 restaurants) brands, along with our colleagues in Romania and Hungary, we are the largest catering group in Central and Eastern Europe.

We relieve companies and production plants of the worry of providing quality meals for their employees. We take care of lunch, dinner and breakfast in multi-shift production plants, a nuclear power plant and logistics centres. We serve the dishes you've loved since childhood, as well as those that fit perfectly into a balanced lifestyle. Our FIT Brand Chef, Kristýna Ostratická, oversees the creation of a new greener and more balanced menu.

We don't mention our guests just for the sake of it. From the very beginning, we have based our success on the fact that employee restaurants are restaurants like any other, and their menu, environment and staff conduct should reflect that. However, we also recognise that, as a large company, we have a responsibility to the environment in which we operate. We closely monitor compliance with all the standards that apply to our operations and engage in activities aimed at reducing food waste.
